>> #101928Anonymous Posted on 2022-08-04 21:29:21 Imagine, if you will, a bucket. A small bucket, with a plastic, black handle. It is a thin handle, but the small grips make it easy to carry for people with particularly small hands. Now imagine the bucket being red. The bucket itself, the base, is red. The handle is black, but the rest is a deep, formula red that helps the bucket stand out against other objects around it. If you were to place another bucket next to this previously mentioned red and black bucket (as the handle indeed counts as part of the bucket for obvious reasons), would you consider the colour of that bucket when doing so? Would you be aware that the colour of this bucket may, to you, or to others, change the way people view the scene itself? If, say, the bucket is of a less appealing colour, would you consider moving it? Or would you consider the possibility of that bucket's lack of appeal making the red and black bucket stand out more as the appealing bucket. Perhaps it would make people want to use the red bucket more. Maybe someone else will move the second bucket to tell you, the owner, that you made an incorrect choice. It may help you understand how the human mind works, how the concept of appeal works, and, of course, how the bucket works.
